Kenyan born artist, Chasemode (David Karigo) released his debut single “Wasemanini” while in high school.
He later produced his first album at 18 making him among the youngest gospel recording artist in the country.
Music from his first album was aired in radio stations which led to interviews with K.B.C. (Kenya Broadcasting Corporation),
Metro TV & Kameme Radio. Chasemode has 2 albums & won Best Overall Artist (Talanta awards, GA),
Best New Artist (Joe Higgs International Reggae Music Awards, MA).
He performed at the Caribbean Fest at the Univ. of MD, Eastern Shore, Extreme Weekend which featured Cheville Franklin, Haiti Relief Concert, MD
& also at Hawaii, Puerto Rico & Barbados with the Univ. of MD Eastern Shore concert choir. Chasemode's goal is to lead people to
Jesus Christ & to model positive behavior. Currently Chasemode is in graduate school & is also working on a collaborative album with Mr. Bonifide.
